Club Details

Balally Karate Academy meets at St. Olafs National School, Balally Drive, Dublin. Instructor Douglas Doyle (4th Dan) provides a wide range of classes over three days a week, catering for all ages and abilities.

Club Achievements

Each year the Ballally club hosts the WSKFJunior Competition over the Christmas holidays.  

Another highlight of the Karate year in Ireland is the club's annual seminar with Professor Rick Clarke, world renowned instructor.  Prof. Clark is author of "Martial Arts for the University: A Textbook for Basic Judo, Ju Jitsu, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Modern Arnis and Vital Points" and runs seminars teaching Vital Points, Grappling and Applications as found in the many forms of martial arts.

  Sensei Douglas Doyle

  Sensei Douglas Doyle is a 5th Dan Black Belt and is the founder of the Balally Karate club in Sandyford, Dublin. He also is very active in the WSKF Ireland association, hosting the Annual Christmas Junior Competition at the Balally Club, as well as being instrumental in bringing world-renowned martial arts expert, Professsor Rick Clark to Ireland each year.
