It's early in the competition season for 2014 but that didn't stop the WSKF Ireland juniors putting out their best game at the IKKU Kumite Open, Saturday 22nd.

The WSKF started and finished the day with gold. Nicole Perry took top place in the first event of the day which was the ladies seniors. Evans Yeboah championed the WSKF in the closing event, boys 14-15. Being the youngest in the group seemed to be no obstacle as he fought through four rounds to take first place.

During the day, the medals came thick and fast. Davey Gannon's performance in the 11 years boys group was particularly impressive. A brush off from his first round opponent seemed to 'waken the beast' and once taken care of, there was no stopping him.

A huge well done to all the competitiors. Here are all the results we know of. If we're missing anyone, please email us at info@wskf.ie, We don't want to exclude anybody!
